At The Wild Hub, we're passionate about offering services that help both children and adults reconnect with themselves in a meaningful, creative way. My journey into Holistic Integrated Creative Art Therapy was inspired after accompanying a young looked-after child to play therapy sessions. I had previously only experienced talking therapies, and I realised how transformative alternative therapies like play and creative arts could be. It was also clear that services in our area have long waiting lists. This realisation steered me toward holistic therapies, and my studies in this field have opened up a world of insight—not only about myself but also about child development and the critical importance of the early years. I’ve come to understand how every experience, or lack thereof, shapes a child into the adult they will become. As a parent, I see this process unfold daily. My studies also rekindled my love for painting —a joy I had lost after feeling overshadowed by my artistic brother for many years. Through my training, I rediscovered the beauty of creativity—not for the final product, but for the journey, the meaning, and the process. Creative art therapy offers us a powerful, non-intrusive way to explore our inner selves, whether it’s through painting, crafting, or countless other modalities. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing space where people of all ages can explore their true selves, reflect on their beliefs, and grow into their full potential. We focus not just on making art but on engaging with the creative process itself. By doing so, we tap into a deeper sense of understanding and healing.
