Wild Yogis
We aim to educate children and their families on ‘what it means to be human,’ the relevance of this to our nervous system, and how it impacts our daily lives. We aim to teach these tools to those in need in our local communities, focusing on self-calming techniques, the value of decompression, the biology of reassurance, and understanding resilience through proprioceptive exercises based on yoga asana, breathwork, mindfulness, and deep relaxation.
Becoming a Yogi
We believe that every family deserves to feel calm, connected, and confident in supporting their wellbeing. That’s why we’re here to help children and their families discover simple, fun ways to understand and take care of their bodies and minds! Our approach is all about teaching practical tools that bring calm to busy days—like self-soothing techniques, the magic of slowing down, and how our nervous system plays a big role in how we feel every day.
Through playful activities like yoga-inspired movements, breathing exercises, mindfulness, and deep relaxation, we show families how to tap into their own power. From learning how to feel grounded and safe, to boosting resilience, we’re here to support local communities with the skills they need to thrive. Together, we’ll explore the joy of slowing down, taking a breath, and finding balance—one stretch, one breath, one mindful moment at a time!
