Meet the Team
We’re a passionate and skilled team with decades of combined experience supporting children, young people, and adults through life’s challenges. Our backgrounds span social care, health and nursing, youth work, probation services, education, and community development, with specialist knowledge in SEND, autism, ADHD, County Lines, and mental health.
Our qualifications include counselling skills, project management, creative arts facilitation, acupressure, yoga for children, and safeguarding, alongside extensive training in suicide prevention, domestic abuse, and working with both victims and perpetrators. Many of us bring valuable lived experience, from overcoming childhood trauma to caring for neurodivergent family members, which deepens our empathy and understanding.
We also draw on the expertise of our STEM Ambassador, who works closely with communities from low socio-economic backgrounds to raise aspirations, expand opportunities, and create fair access to education and employment.
Together, we’ve delivered workshops, support groups, wellbeing programmes, and large-scale community projects. We are committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where people can connect, grow, and discover their own strength.

Through my years working in residential children's homes, I became aware of the lack of mental health support for looked-after children in our area. I witnessed first hand how many young people were struggling — not because they lacked strength or resilience, but because they weren’t being given the right tools or safe spaces to grow. That awareness planted a seed in me… but it wasn’t until a personal turning point that everything truly shifted. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Thankfully, it was caught early and treated efficiently. Still, it shook me to my core. It made me stop and really look at my life — at the stress I was holding, the direction I was heading, and what I truly wanted. That moment marked the beginning of a new path — one where I could honour my body, embrace healing, and live with more intention. Becoming a parent during the pandemic only deepened that change. I came to understand how important community really is — not just for raising children, but for supporting each other as adults. No one should have to go through life feeling alone, overwhelmed, or unsupported. That’s when I knew: I wanted to create something different — a space rooted in connection, well-being, creativity, and nature. A place where people could come to feel safe, express themselves, and grow. That’s how The Wild Hub began.

Director - Holistic Wellness Practitioner
Jade Mynott
With a lifelong passion for helping others, I have dedicated my career to empowering individuals to overcome challenges and build happier, more fulfilling lives. I spent my late teens training and volunteering with vulnerable young people, before going on to spend 15 years working in support roles across learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, EBSD, Autism, and SEND. This deep experience eventually led me back to my roots — qualifying as a Youth Worker. Drawing from my own personal journey of healing and resilience, I’m passionate about helping others to discover their own strength and potential. Living with neurodivergence and a chronic immune-based health condition I spent two decades undergoing surgeries, treatments, and taking countless medications before embracing a holistic path to wellness. Through therapy, natural products, healthy living, and reconnecting with nature, I have now been medication- and treatment-free for three years. This transformation not only supported my wellbeing but also rekindled my connection to my inner child and their “witchy ways.” Today, I bring creativity, nature- based wisdom, and compassion into everything I do — from working with herbs and natural materials to crafting handmade skincare, incense, and candles or just helping others to reconnect and find the “magic” in their world. Proudly known as the Hub’s resident witch, I try to continue to inspire others to heal, grow, and live more authentically. After experiencing multiple and consistent traumas in recent years I developed Complex PTSD and spent two years in complete shutdown. My journey back to health and a full life eventually led me to The Hub, where I began volunteering. It was here that I found a sense of belonging and purpose once again. Seeing how deeply The Hub’s values aligned with my own, I am proud to step into the role of Director — Hopefully bringing my lived experience, empathy, and strength to the heart of the organisation I genuinely believe that everyone deserves the chance to heal, grow, and live a healthy, happy life and my role as Director allows me to channel my passion for community, wellbeing, and personal transformation into meaningful action — supporting others to find their own path to wholeness and empowerment.

Our Supporters
We are incredibly grateful to the amazing organisations and individuals who stand beside us. Each supporter contributes in their own unique way — from providing essential funding and grants, to offering their time, skills, advice, and partnership. Their generosity and collaboration make it possible for us to deliver the great work we do for our community. Without their support, we simply wouldn’t be where we are today — and for that, we are truly thankful.
