Programme Information
Our seasonal nature-based workshops are designed to help you reconnect with the environment, enhance your creativity, and promote wellbeing through mindful activities.
With each session, you’ll experience the beauty of nature while exploring new skills, from foraging and cooking to mindfulness and crafting.
These workshops offer a chance to slow down, embrace the changing seasons, and learn more about the world around you. Whether you're walking through frosty landscapes in winter, designing a sensory garden, or celebrating the summer solstice, there's something for everyone to enjoy throughout the year.

Winter Walk & Photography

Spring Foraging

As spring begins to awaken, explore the world of foraging. Learn to identify early spring edibles like wild garlic, and gain useful tips for safely foraging in nature. You’ll even get a chance to cook with your foraged finds.

Walpole Sensory Garden

This workshop introduces the concept of sensory gardens. We’ll focus on designing spaces that engage all five senses. You'll have the opportunity to sketch your plans and get creative with ideas for our sensory garden.

Tree Meditation & Connection

Join us for an evening of tree meditation and mindfulness. We’ll identify different tree species, take part in a grounding meditation, and make creative bark rubbings as we connect with the natural world.

BeeTalk with Beekeepers Andy & Sue

Adults session: Join Sue for an insightful talk about the importance of bees in ecosystems. Learn how they play a crucial role in pollination and take part in a craft activity where you'll make bee-friendly seed bombs to support these important pollinators.

This special session for kids celebrates the arrival of spring. Learn about flowers, bees, and pollinators, and take part in planting flowers and building bee hotels to support our buzzing friends.

Nature Crafts for Mindfulness

Get creative with nature in this mindful crafting session. You’ll press flowers, create beautiful bookmarks, and enjoy a relaxing evening of crafting, while learning about the importance of eco-friendly materials.
