Wild Connection - Our Retreat Days

At The Wild Hub, an important part of our work as a community company is becoming sustainable. We want to ensure we can always offer our services to our community at the best rate possible. While we work hard to secure funding, it is in high demand from many fantastic organisations.

By running special ticketed events, we can put money back into the company to continue supporting our free and low-cost sessions. Our retreat days all fall under Wild Connections, because that’s exactly what we aim to create — a chance to become wild and free, and to form meaningful connections, whether with Mother Earth or with fellow participants.

We love running workshops, but sometimes 1–2 hours just isn’t enough. There’s so much more to gain when we can spend several hours together, allowing deeper experiences, more connection, and time to truly immerse ourselves. Throughout 2026, we will host retreat days that focus on a variety of themes. Many will align with the Celtic seasonal festivals, celebrating nature’s rhythms and honouring the cycles of life.

The Celtic Festivals – Why They Matter to Us

The Celtic Wheel of the Year marks eight key points through the changing seasons — a blend of solstices, equinoxes, and cross-quarter fire festivals. These celebrations are rooted in ancient traditions that honour nature’s cycles, the harvests, and the turning of the seasons. Samhain (Oct 31–Nov 1) – The Celtic New Year and a time to honour ancestors, reflect, and set intentions for the darker months. Winter Solstice / Yule (around Dec 21) – The longest night, celebrating the return of the light and the promise of new beginnings. Imbolc (Feb 1–2) – A time of hope and renewal as the first signs of spring emerge. Spring Equinox / Ostara (around Mar 20) – Day and night are equal, symbolising balance and new growth. Beltane (May 1) – A vibrant celebration of fertility, creativity, and life in full bloom. Summer Solstice / Litha (around Jun 21) – The longest day, honouring the sun’s power and abundance. Lughnasadh / Lammas (Aug 1) – The first harvest festival, a time of gratitude and sharing. Autumn Equinox / Mabon (around Sep 21) – Another point of balance, giving thanks for the second harvest and preparing for the winter ahead. These festivals deeply align with our ethos — living in harmony with nature, slowing down to notice seasonal shifts, and recognising the importance of community, gratitude, and connection. By weaving them into our retreats, we create spaces that reflect nature’s wisdom, invite reflection, and celebrate the beauty of change.

What to Expect

Our retreats are born from our combined experience, skills, and deep passion for creating spaces where you can truly nurture and love yourself. Through sound, creativity, and a touch of spiritual magic, we show up as our authentic selves — and invite you to do the same. We weave healing, joy, and laughter into everything we do, holding space where you feel safe, supported, and appreciated. There’s no need to be anything other than yourself. Just arrive as you are, and together we’ll journey into connection, creativity, and the freedom to simply be.

As new events are launched, they will appear below. You’ll be able to explore each one in more detail and discover exactly what to expect on the day.
